I found an eelgrass seedling in a sample I was processing for a scientific study, which was a lucky find. I was able to collect various othereelgrass parts after processing as references for this piece. The fact that these plants were used for both science and art makes them especially important to me, linking two aspects of my life and allowing them to be repurposed in a useful and visually pleasing way.
